Good Evening. Due to teaching staff absences as a result of both illness and weather and our inability to secure enough substitutes at this time, we do not feel we can safely supervise and provide strong instruction for students at either campus. Both campuses have been impacted. Therefore, both Copperopolis and Mark Twain Elementary will have a full closure tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Buenas noches. Ambos campus se han visto afectados. Por lo tanto, tanto Copperopolis como Mark Twain Elementary tendr n un cierre completo ma ana, martes 28 de febrero de 2023.

Cougar News Volume 4

Good Morning. Copperopolis Elementary lost power at about 8:40 a.m. this morning. Due to families' work schedules, it is the safest plan of action to keep our students at school with these unexpected occurrences. The estimated time of power restoration is 3 p.m. We are hoping that it might be earlier than that.
Lunches are fine and in place for students. All students will be able to use the gymnasium bathrooms and a rotary phone is getting hooked up in the office (estimated time 10:30 a.m.). Please limit your phone calls to high importance items only. Teachers will do their best to keep the rooms cool.
We will not be doing an early dismissal. If you would like to pick up your child, we understand, you will need to come to the office and check them out, but it is not expected or required.
