New Cafeteria Point-of-Sale System

The District food Service staff welcomes you to a new school year.  We are excited to announce that we are implementing a new Point-of-Sale system in our school cafeterias.  This new system along with the Infinite Campus parent portal will allow parents to purchase meals online, monitor their food service account balance and meal history.  Purchases made online include E-Check, Debit, and Credit Cards.  A $3.00 fee will be charged to defray our costs for this convenience. Parents, students, and staff will still be able to use cash or check without a fee.  Student meal prices have not increased and remain $1.50 for breakfast and $3.00 for lunch. Adult meal prices remain at $2.00 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunch.

Prior to the start of school each student will receive a four (4) digit PIN code that will be used to record meals provided or purchased.  Your child will enter this code every time they are served.  The food service staff will provide your child their PIN if they forget.  A picture of the student will appear allowing the cafeteria staff to identify your child and monitor any restrictions you as a parent may request.  We are asking parents who have not utilized the online payment process to purchase meals prior to the start of the school day in the Cafeteria. Notifications of low account balances will be sent once a week via Infinite Campus inbox, Email, messenger, and/or text.  It is important that you verify that your census information is correct.

Applications for Free and Reduced-price meals are included in the back to school packet.  Applications for free and reduced-price meals may be submitted at any time during the school day.  Children participating in the federal National School Lunch Program will not be publicly identified. The governing board has waived the reduced meals charge if a completed application has been signed, submitted and approved.  To see if your children qualify for free or reduced-price meal go to our website and click on the Food Service Icon located on the right side of the page  Applications are reviewed by the Cafeteria managers and you may direct any questions to them.
