Mark Twain Union Elementary School District

Facilities

The District passed a bond in 2004 that provided funding to build the new gymnasium at Mark Twain Elementary, redesign the student drop off area at Copperopolis Elementary and to build a transportation center for the District.  The plan also included building a new school in Copperopolis.  The District does own property in the area for the new school site.  Due to the slowing of the economy, slowing in student growth and slowing of developments in the local area, the new school in Copperopolis has been put on hold at this time.

If you are interested in participating in any of the committees that address facilities, please contact the District Office at 736-1855.
